How to get used to a healthy diet?

Food is a basic human need. None of us can live without food. But it is also not good to get sick at meal time. Many people today suffer from the ill effects of starvation rather than living. We talked earlier about the ill effects of obesity. He also talked about why you need to maintain the right weight for your height.

         * Be aware of the diseases caused by obesity

         * Let's know exactly about BMI - Body Mass Index

But no matter what you do, we need to get into the habit of eating healthy foods. Everyone talks about this but there is very little talk about how to do it. So we thought, how do you get used to a healthy diet? That means talking about what people in particular want to do to eat healthy. This is not about a diet. How to get rid of bad eating habits and stay healthy in everyday life.

1. A clear goal

First and foremost we need to have a greater interest in maintaining good physical health. Although many people today know that many foods that are eaten are harmful to the body, no one wants to avoid them. Therefore, it is important to make sure that you give up these bad habits and eat a good diet and enjoy the benefits of good health. After a while I get addicted to this method. But at first it was a little difficult. It is important to control the mind.

2. Mouth control

Next is the mouth that needs to be controlled. You need to stop eating food completely. As mentioned earlier, food is a basic necessity and should not be taken for granted. After a while, when the ailments subside, the skin becomes pale, and the body feels relaxed, no matter how tasty these bad foods are, you will not feel like eating them. But early control of the mouth is important.

3. Half of the dish is vegetables, fruits

Now we are used to eating a big plate of rice and some vegetables. For dessert, eat a small piece of fruit or a mountain of sweets. That needs to change. Always add a little bit of rice and the rest of the vegetables. Raw leaf sambols and salads are best eaten raw. Nutrition is high. Or eat more vegetables instead of ingesting too many carbohydrates. Make it a habit to eat fruit after meals as well as in between meals.

4. Low fat milk

Milk is not really essential for our body. No other mammal that grows up drinking milk like humans drinks milk after infancy. But we drink milk until we die. It's really a business idea that business people have created in our heads. Without milk we can live a much healthier life. It would be great if milk and tea could be stopped completely. But those who can't, those who are addicted to milk can get used to drinking low fat or non fat fat milk.

5. Sweets, flours and oils

These are our worst enemies. Seeing all three of these is something we love to eat on the go, and we always add it to our meals. They are also the owners of all the diseases we have like cholesterol, sugar and pressure. All three types of food should be stopped completely. Remember, not to reduce. Stop completely. If you have diabetes, that is, type 1 diabetes, it is a good idea to seek medical advice before doing this. Other than that, none of these three parts of our body are essential. The other foods we eat provide the body with essential sugars and fats. Foods like potatoes and sweet potatoes provide the starch we need.

6. Seafood

Seafood is one of the most important sources of protein for the human body. In addition, seafood is rich in minerals and omega-3 fats. So add as much seafood as possible to fish, prawns and squid. When these things are eaten too much, the stomach does not feel the reduction of rice. Fish is a much healthier food than meat. So choose fish and other seafood instead of meat.

7. Water as much as possible

Needless to say, this is so weird. Water is a very beneficial drink for the human body. We talked about this in a separate article earlier. https://www.lifie.lk/2020/09/09/benefits-of-drinking-water/

Instead of the tea, coffee, and sweet drinks we drink every day, make it a habit to drink water at all times. Like milk, none of these drinks are essential for our body. Unwanted drinks add a lot of sugar and calories to the body. If you can't forget the taste of the drink, you can add something like lime, lemon or watermelon to the water. Those things are good for the body. But there is no benefit in drinking fruit juices with added sugar and milk.
